Shin Viaduct Footbridge

Agreement to construct a footbridge alongside the 131 year old viaduct linking Culrain to Invershin is nearer.

Railtrack and the North of Scotland Water Authority are part funding the project. Both the Highland Council and Caithness and Sutherland Enterprise are expected to contribute. The scheme attracts European Community Objective 1 funding also.

So another FOFNL objective looks like coming to fruition, and illicit walking along the rail tracks can fade into the past.
