A fascinating history of the early days (25 years) of the paddle steamer Waverley in preservation after she was sold to the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society for £1 in 1974 by Caledonian MacBrayne. Written largely by the major players, Terry Sylvester, Douglas McGowan and Captain David Neill.
Waverley will be sailing from Kyle of Lochalsh to Gairloch on Thursday 28 May and to Portree and round Raasay on Friday 29th.
